GGI’s team offers organizations and individuals expert advice in the area of strategic planning through facilitation, design and development. In the past, GGI has developed strategic plans for federal government as well as not-for-profit clients. Plans have focused on organizations as well as programs.

In recent years, GGI facilitated a half-day strategic planning session with Immigrant Women’s Services Ottawa stakeholders to inform the development of their next strategic plan (2016). GGI was hired to lead the workshop and update various components of the IWSO strategic plan document.  Similarly in 2016, GGI engaged the Board of Directors of Grace Sparkes House (a transition house for women who are victims of violence) in a strategic planning exercise. The intent was to review their goals/objectives and strategic directions, with a particular focus on emerging opportunities in their rural community to which they are poised to respond, so as to identify priority areas of action for the next three to five years. Before that, GGI was hired by Health Canada to develop a strategic plan for the Chemicals Management Plan.
