At GGI, international development consulting services are available for a broad range of critical functions, including:

• Development and Planning of Evaluation and Results Monitoring Systems - GGI has developed evaluation and results monitoring systems for large scale, multi-country programs and institutions. We have also developed systems for monitoring results at the branch, division and country program level for bilateral development agencies.
• Program, Project and Institutional Evaluations - This is the core of GGI's international development practice. It has included evaluations for individual donor agencies as well as multi-donor consortias. In particular, GGI has gained a strong reputation for the evaluation of UN agencies, funds, and programs.
• Policy Reform and Policy Development Studies - GGI has carried out extensive policy review and reform work for bilateral and multilateral clients. Most recently, this work has focused on gender equality policies and on policies relating to complex political emergencies and post-conflict reconstruction.
• Best Practices Reviews - GGI has conducted a series of best practices reviews in such areas as maximizing the impact of policy dialogue, mainstreaming gender equality and linking development cooperation and humanitarian relief in complex emergencies.
• Training - GGI continues to provide training to bilateral and multilateral development agencies in such areas as results-based monitoring and evaluation, gender equality mainstreaming, and gender dimensions of peacekeeping and peace-building operations.
