Program Evaluation and Results-Based Management
GGI’s evaluation practice covers a broad range of research-based services, including:
Evaluation and Accountability Planning – GGI has many years of experience in developing traditional evaluation assessments and frameworks (including plans and strategies) and methodology reports. It also includes specific federal government approaches to accountability planning, as reflected in Performance Measurement Strategies (PMSs), Results-based Management and Accountability Frameworks (RMAFs) and Risk-based Audit Frameworks (RBAFs). GGI has conducted numerous planning assignments for a range of clients.
Evaluation Studies – GGI conducts a range of evaluation studies, as well as other research-based studies and reviews. It carries out these studies using a range of evaluation methodologies - key informant interviews, focus groups, case studies, literature reviews, expert panels, statistical surveys (telephone and mail questionnaires and personal interviews), administrative data analysis and data mining, statistical analysis (ranging from simple descriptive analysis to econometric modeling), and cost-effectiveness analysis.
Evaluation Tools and Training – GGI shares its evaluation experience through the development of evaluation and results-based management (RBM) tools and the design and implementation of training in all aspects of evaluation. Tools and training have been developed on logic models, performance frameworks, performance indicators and data analysis models.
