Focus Groups

Using a variety of techniques and approaches adapted to our clients’ needs, GGI can provide a variety of focus group services, including the design, delivery and analysis of focus groups results in both official languages.

GGI uses focus groups either as a stand-alone research method or as one source of evidence (among others) for large-scale research projects. Our professional consultants use this method for a variety of research assignments, including:

  • Market research (i.e. product testing, website evaluation, concept testing, etc.)
  • Program evaluation research (i.e. validation of evaluation issues, program results, etc.)
  • Organizational design and development research (i.e. priority-setting, designing strategies, employee feedback, etc.)
  • Development of training programs (i.e. needs assessments, identification of learning gaps, etc.)
  • Pre and post survey administration (validation of survey design and/or survey results)

Our professional consultants have moderated focus groups with a wide range of participants, including youth, immigrants and refugees, Aboriginal people, persons with disabilities, senior public sector managers, and the general public.
