Mike Eagen (MMath, MSc), is a GGI Partner based in our St. John's office. Mike brings strong research design skills to his assignments. He is a former Senior Survey Methodologist with Statistics Canada and has extensive experience in survey design ranging from complex surveys and longitudinal studies to client satisfaction research. He is expert at assessment of the value of administrative data for statistical and management information purposes and has assisted many programs and organizations in assessment of their performance based on approaches which use pre-existing data supplemented by primary research as required. He also has strong qualitative and project management skills and has led many GGI evaluation and research projects. He established the St. John's office in 1995 after serving as a Partner in the Ottawa office from 1987 - 1995. He has worked in a broad range of subject matters including employment, health, Aboriginal issues, finance, economic development, income support, disability and social services. He worked for six years in Ireland as a Senior Consultant with IBM Ireland (2000 - 2002) and as Evaluation Manager with the Health Service Executive (2002 - 2006) and returned to GGI on a full-time basis in January 2007. He has a Honours B Math (Statistics) and a M Math (Statistics) from the University of Waterloo, a B Ed from the University of Ottawa and a M Sc (Health Services Management) from Trinity College Dublin. Mike has a Secret level security clearance.
