At GGI, your privacy is very important to us.  We are committed to maintaining the security and privacy of the information we collect from the public.

GGI is a member of the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA), an organization that sets industry standards to which member companies must adhere and which also protect your privacy.   We have developed this privacy policy based on MRIA values and it is compliant with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

 “Personal information” is defined in PIPEDA as information about an identifiable individual, although it does not include the name, business title, business address or telephone number of employees of organizations.

GGI’s privacy policy applies to all information given to us by survey or interview respondents, focus group participants, or those who request material from our site, such as studies or reports.

The use of any information you provide in the context of a project will be described in the introduction to the data collection process. 

We will not, under any circumstances, share, sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any individual information collected on our site to any third party, without your express permission.

GGI will never use email addresses provided to us to send 'spam', or unsolicited commercial emails.

Access to information collected at our web site is restricted to GGI employees who require the information for research or business reasons. Our staff is trained to respect the rules of data integrity and confidentiality.

GGI’s website may contain links to other third party sites that are not governed by this privacy policy.  Our Privacy Policy will no longer apply once you leave this website (ggi.ca).  We encourage you to refer to the privacy policies posted on third party sites.

There are certain types of information about visitors that is kept by user-logs on the web server. This information includes the pages visited, the IP address of visitors, time spent at the site, etc. This information is used by GGI to improve the site and manage site traffic. No individual identifying information is collected.
